Media - the fourth estate

Durach Sergey Viktorovich, Mustets Igor, Pilipenko Sergey, Ispanyuk Taras, raiders, Black,

In 1787 The phrase “fourth estate” was first used in the British Parliament. This is how the English philosopher and member of Parliament Edmund Burke described the importance of the press. Over the two years that have passed since the raider takeover and filled with the war against Ukrainian corrupt officials, representatives of TsZI have repeatedly contacted leading Ukrainian publications with materials about corruption. But the journalist guys didn’t answer them. We won’t list who exactly “TsZI” addressed, it doesn’t matter now.

Practically, not a single publication has published a single investigative article in a year and a half. It was not only the media that showed indifference. Human rights and anti-corruption organizations also did not want to print these materials. Why? Why the media and human rights public organizations do not care about the crime in which the Office of the Prosecutor General and the Main Investigation Department are “contaminated” A person covering his eyes with his hands Description automatically generatedNational Police, a dozen judges, a regional prosecutor, district investigators and prosecutors, notaries, state registrars, experts, lawyers?

Why is the media not interested in SYSTEMIC CRIME, which reflects TOTAL CORRUPTION in Ukraine? Why do the media simplify the problem of corruption to just one official, but do not want to write about the fact that ALL government bodies in Ukraine are affected by corruption? Why does the media see raiding only as a “jeansu” - a fight for money?

Probably, the “scoop” has not yet faded from the brain: if you are a businessman, then you must be a thief. Victims of raiding in Ukraine, in most cases, are left alone with total corruption.
