To date, NABU and SAP investigators do not have evidence of the movement of funds into the accounts of the former chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security and Defense Sergei Pashinsky as part of the investigation into the case of the so-called misappropriation of oil products to indicate any potential financial benefit to the ex-People’s Deputy.

This was recognized on Thursday, March 7, by SAPO prosecutor Alexander Snegirev in the Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine during the consideration of Pashinsky’s complaint against the lower court’s decision regarding the suppression.

“Since the defense points out what Pashinsky received from those activities, we have not brought the funds directly received for oil products to Pashinsky’s account, at least for now. Maybe we’ll never prove it.”, said the representative of the state prosecution.

Earlier, based on the results of consideration of Pashinsky’s complaint, the HACSA Appeals Chamber left unchanged the preventive measures for the ex-People’s Deputy in the form of arrest with an alternative in the form of bail.

It is reported that bail was made for former people's deputy Sergei Pashinsky, which allowed him to be released from the pre-trial detention center. According to him, the money was contributed by member enterprises of the National Defense Industries Association.
